Extended range means the ability to measure rotating target objects from a greater distance, resulting in improved safety. Improved durability for use in harsh measuring environments The FT3405 features a drop-proof design that can withstand a drop of 1 meter onto concrete. Additionally, compliance with the IP 50 ( EN 60529) standard of protection against dust and water penetration means the new instruments can be used in harsh environments characterized by airborne dust and other particulate matter. These improvements in durability and resilience allow the FT3406 to be used with confidence and peace of mind in harsh measuring environments.
